TPSP Stakeholder meeting # 1

Dear educators, lab techs, and supporters OF STEM, we'd like to invite you to take part in our first stakeholder engagement meeting for the Phoenix School Program Thursday the 1st of October at 6pm. Since launching in 2018 with your support, we've been able to donate over $180,000 from universities, biotech companies, and research organisations to 36 different schools in Victoria.

Now that we've been operating for a little while and with your feedback, we've identified a few opportunities and a few challenges. In order for us to make a greater impact, we need to involve you— the community—in the discussion.

As scientists, we know that questions, more than answers, pave the pathway towards wisdom.

As you can imagine, we have many questions we'd love to ask you that will help us co-create meaningful solutions together that helps improve the resource efficiency of the STEM ecosystem, whilst helping get science equipment into schools where needed. A true win-win-win situation for all involved.

Before we ask these questions, we'll briefly go over our operations. Discussing what we've done, how we do it and our vision for the future of integrated STEM education in Australia. We will discuss our phase II expansion will include forming working groups and volunteers, expanding to other states, donating internationally, curriculum mapping new experiments made from upcycled science materials, lab-tech support, and more.

We're excited to see what other ideas and thoughts you might have that can assist us in doing what we do better. Together, we can create a more circular STEM ecosystem here in Australia. By effectively collaborating with one another, the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts.

This meeting will be hosted on Zoom with a link to the meeting sent out on the 30th of September.
